1995 Arden Alverson Summit heavily involved with 6 Million dollar Eastside Park project. 1998-99. Terry Ball first female President. Summit wins its 1st Gold Club Award.
2000 Won the Newsletter Award Ray Alley Mary Harshey. The award has been won numerous times through the years. In 2012 Summit won again--the District Newsletter Award is being retired.
2007 Buried time capsule at Greensboro College. Celebrated 50 year anniversary at Green's Supper Club
2008 Inducted Double Foundation Alumni John Longphre, Former Youth Exchange Student and Ambassadorial Scholar
2009 Tsunami Relief - $20,000.00 raised by Drew Cannady with contributions and a Bread & Soup Meal
2011 Erey 100% sustaining have named 483 PH Fellows - Club wins 14th consecutive Gold Club Award (1 of 5 clubs in District 7690 with this honor)
2012 Laurie Scotten organized the effort to feed 600 kids 4 days a week for the month of August.
2013 Cindi Hewitt and others helped organize and coordinate tens of thousands of meals to be packed for the "Meals of Hope" program to feed hungry children in Guilford County.
2015 Our annual club fundraiser raised over $72,000 for charities in our community. The largest we've ever raised thanks to Bruce Atkinson's fundraiser leadership and the generous members who participated with their time and their money.
2016 Several of our members of our club, Allen Rembert, Terry Ball, and Mike Sigmon were asked to attend District 1650 Conference in Rennes, France to discuss continued join projects with the Moscow Club. Also to celebrate Russia's 25th Anniversary of Rotary in the country Claudia Cannady, Allen Rembert and Mike Sigmon traveled to meet with the Moscow club.
